Do you ever feel like sometimes your own little world and the universe align in just the perfect way? That’s how I feel about discovering Saribelle Skincare! I am a stage actress and when I am in theater productions I have to wear lots of thick foundation on my face. This often results in blackheads, YUCK! I have been looking and looking for a skincare line that would be natural and safe for kids/tweens. ENTER STAGE LEFT…SARIBELLE! Omygosh you guys! It is exactly what I was looking for. Pure, simple, all-natural skincare and perfect for sensitive skin just like mine! It is plant-based and so gentle that anyone can use it. Which is why I think it is PERFECT for tweens who are just beginning to learn the importance of caring for their skin. (Or anybody else!) When Saribelle offered to send me some products to try in exchange for a review on my blog, I jumped at the chance. What follows is my 100% honest opinion of their products.
Ok, so let’s talk first impressions. I am feeling so much love for this packaging. WOW!!! I couldn’t have dreamed up a more beautiful look if I tried. And you guys should see their gift boxes!!! They sent me their Instant Foaming Facial Cleanser, Moisturizing Face Lotion and 2 packets of their Therapeutic Mud Mask to try. Who could have known that skincare products could be SO pretty?!? *Sigh*
I desperately wanted to try the mud mask because I LOVE face masks! On the directions it said to wash your face first. The foaming cleanser scent (YAY for foaming!) is called “Marvelous Mandarin.” It smells SO good, like a light citrus scent. Not overwhelming at all, but the perfect amount of sweet orange. The foam was thick and washed off easily and my face felt super clean!
Face washed, CHECK! Up next mud mask!!!
The mask went on super easy, it was thin enough that it glided right over my skin. It smelled very fresh with a hint of mint. Again, a pleasant smell not at all overpowering. It gave my face that minty cold feeling. I loved it! I was just missing cucumbers. Next time I am DEFINITELY getting cucumbers. 😀 It dried in about 10 minutes and I used a disposable face wipe to remove it. With some warm water, the foaming face wash and the wipe it came off super easy.
With my face feeling super clean now, the last step was to apply the moisturizing lotion. This winter has been SO cold and my skin has been SO dry. Honestly, I’ve always been nervous to use lotion on my face because I was scared it would clog my pores and my blackheads would get worse. This lotion though… it is so light! I was seriously amazed at how lightweight it felt on my skin, and yet the dry skin was immediately moisturized! In fact when I woke up the next morning the dry skin was gone!
I’ve been using these products for almost a week now, and I am hooked! (My 13 year old brother has even been using them, LOL) If you are looking for quality, natural, skincare this is it! Go check out their website. I really think you will love them as much as I do. Love, Mk
(Me using the facial cleanser bottle as a microphone, I’m not eating it I promise 🙂 )
